On Saturday, I attended the 2nd Irish Bloggers Conference. The conference was organised by the Irish Bloggers Association which was set up this year to help Irish bloggers connect online and host events to bring them together. About a hundred bloggers in everything from fashion, beauty, food, travel, fitness to weddings (not sure if that was just me!) filled the conference room in The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dublin. And it was a jam packed day!
The event was hosted by comedian Marcus O’Laoire and he was hilarious!

On the day Holly Shortall & Jamie Tuohy took over social media for the day and selecting Best Dressed, Best Tweet and Best Instagram. The charity partner for the day was Teen Line and it was fantastic for some many social media obsessed bloggers to help get Teen Line trending, create awareness and also raise some money!
On the day I met some really great bloggers so check out their pages and give them a like! Jess AKA The Gap Year Guru is a travel blogger. Stacey has a Health/ Fitness/ Nutrition/ Mindfulness/ Environmental Blog called The Mindful Guide. Rebecca from Lipstick, Glitter & Me is a make-up artist and Aisling from Coveted Mess is a beauty and travel blogger.
I also caught up with Dave of Dapper Dave Cash who was on the panel and also did a guest post on my blog about grooming style a while back (see here)! It was so lovely to meet his fiancée Sandra also who is a big fan of Lisa’s Wedding World while she is busy planning their wedding. I also got a quick catch-up and a hug from the stunning Mary Jane of Glamity Jane who also guest posted on my blog a while back too with her skincare and make-up tips for brides here.
And of course an event wouldn’t be an event without a goodie bag! From make-up to coffee, skincare products to popcorn, it was a gem of one! Well done to Emma & Fiona on organising such an amazing event. I can’t wait for next year!
Love from my world,
Lisa x
