I’m not sure about you but I couldn’t contain my excitement earlier this week waiting to see pics of Irish rugby star Peter Stringer and Debbie O’Leary’s wedding. Personally, my Irish celeb wedding of the year so far! So here’s a round up of their big day and all the details!
The bride and groom chose the Spanish sun and opted for an intimate wedding in Marbella. They wed in Nuestra Senora de la Encarnacion church in the old town of Marbella with Debbie arriving in style to walk up the aisle with her father. How happy do the new Mr & Mrs Stringer look emerging from the church?!
Debbie chose a Berta Bridal mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline for her big day from the London bridal stockist The Wedding Club. Her look was completed with a full length veil and sparkly pointy toe Jimmy Choos.
Peter kept it stylishly simple with a navy suit and pink tie.
Cork hairdresser Pamela Morrissey, owner of Sobe Brown, travelled to Spain to do Debbie’s bridal updo.
Debbie went for a coral/nude polish which complimented her bouquet.
Both Debbie and her bridesmaid Ciara carried white, coral and pale pink bouquets for a fresh summer look.
The reception venue looked exquisite with pink and gold dominating the outdoor reception under soft white chiffon draping. The coral, pink and white flowers carried through in the gold centre pieces. The new Mr & Mrs enjoyed their first dance under a roof of fairy lights in the Spanish evening air.
How cute are the heart-shaped lollipops that also doubled up as place settings?!
Approx 120 guests attended the nuptials of the Cork couple including many rugby stars including Donncha O’Callaghan, Paul O’Connell, Mick Galwey, Debbie’s friend and Irish model Nadia Forde as well as family and friends.
Oh to be a fly in the Spanish air at this wedding! Congrats to The Stringers!
Love from my world,
